NIELIT has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Shri Khushal Das University to enhance skill development and improve industry readiness among students. The agreement was formalised in the presence of S. Krishnan, Secretary of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology.
The collaboration aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry requirements by integrating NIELIT’s specialised courses into the university’s academic framework. A key focus will be on curriculum enrichment, ensuring students gain relevant and up-to-date technical knowledge aligned with current industry demands.
Students will benefit from hands-on training programmes designed to build practical skills in emerging technologies under the MoU. The partnership will also promote innovation and incubation activities, encouraging students to work on real-world projects and develop entrepreneurial capabilities.
Additionally, NEILIT and Shri Khushal Das University plan to undertake joint projects that foster research, collaboration, and knowledge exchange. These initiatives are expected to create a dynamic learning environment that supports creativity and problem-solving.
This strategic partnership reflects a shared commitment to developing a skilled workforce, ultimately aiming to produce job-ready graduates equipped to contribute effectively to India’s growing digital economy.
