Luxury lab-grown diamond brand Solitario has announced a strategic partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products (WBDGCP) to introduce an exclusive fine jewellery collection inspired by two globally celebrated entertainment franchises — Tom & Jerry and the DC Universe — for the Indian market.
The collaboration marks Solitario’s entry into licensed pop-culture jewellery, blending ethical luxury with globally recognised characters and superheroes. The launch was unveiled at a curated event held at Solaire, BKC, where fashion, nostalgia and fandom converged in an immersive showcase.
The evening witnessed the presence of luxury editors, stylists, creators and high-net-worth individuals, who explored interactive Tom & Jerry-themed installations alongside dramatic DC superhero zones. The event was attended by Vivek Oberoi, Co-founder of Solitario, and actor Taha Shah Badussha, who is also the face of Solitario’s Gentlemen’s Edit jewellery line.
Craftsmanship Meets Pop Culture
Designed over a six-month period, the Tom & Jerry and DC Universe-inspired jewellery collections feature over 20 handcrafted pieces, each requiring 18 to 40 hours of detailed craftsmanship. Created by a team of 14 master karigars, the pieces incorporate 18K vermeil gold, micro-pavé lab-grown diamonds, 3D character modelling, and precision engraving, transforming pop culture icons into refined, collectible luxury jewellery.
The Tom & Jerry collection celebrates playful nostalgia with dual-motif earrings, miniature pendants, stackable rings and charm bracelets designed for everyday wear. In contrast, the DC Universe range draws inspiration from iconic superheroes, featuring bold Batman insignias, Superman shields, Wonder Woman-inspired accessories, Flash bolt studs, and statement bracelets that reflect power and individuality.
