Honasa Consumer, the parent company of Mamaearth, expects a strong start to FY27, projecting around 30% year-on-year revenue growth in the first quarter. The company said strong demand across its portfolio and continued momentum in offline channels will drive the growth.
In its quarterly business update released on Thursday, Honasa said it expects reported revenue growth in the mid-twenties after accounting for a change in revenue recognition related to the Flipkart group. The company said the adjustment reflects changes in settlement practices for marketplace sellers.
Honasa expects its flagship brand, Mamaearth, to deliver high-teen year-on-year growth in the quarter, driven by improving consumer demand and stronger offline distribution.
The company also expects its emerging brands, including The Derma Co., Aqualogica, BBlunt, Dr. Sheth’s, Staze, Lumineve and Reginald Men, to post growth in the early forties by extending their strong performance.
Honasa said its offline business remained the primary growth driver during the quarter. The company strengthened its general trade distribution, improved in-store execution across modern trade, and expanded its direct retail reach. It also expects the online channel to deliver healthy growth.
Meanwhile, Honasa said it expects to maintain a double-digit operating margin in Q1 FY27, supported by operating leverage as the business continues to scale.
However, the company clarified that the business update is provisional and does not represent its financial results or formal earnings guidance. It will announce its detailed Q1 FY27 financial results after its board approves the quarterly financial statements.
Following the update, Honasa’s shares traded at Rs 467.25 at 10:03 AM on Thursday, valuing the company at a market capitalisation of around Rs 15,250 crore.
