We recently got a chance to understand a little more about the journey of it’s founder who not only have this but few other popular food joints which you must have tried.
Manas Wadhwa, who recently begged prestigious ET F&B Leaders 40U40 exemplifies absolute determination and a motive to serve well with a lot warmth. He left college and has had a difficult journey to get to where he is today. He started a trade show, worked for an event management company, worked in a call center, worked for a multinational corporation, and eventually joined Jet Airways as a cabin crew. He never lost sight of his goal, and in 2005, he quit his well-paying, secure job at Jet and opened Desi Vibes. In addition to Desi Vibes, Manas and his partner Varun, who is also his flight companion, own three other restaurants; K se Kulcha, The Imperial Spice, and Kaffiiaa- Italian Cafe
While speaking to him about his journey, he summarized and said -“There has never been a journey that was not interesting and challenging. We tell the story of Manas Wadhwa and Varun Khera, the duo behind the most loved, successful, and award-winning restaurant in Sector 18 Noida—Desi Vibes—driven by the same virtue. Manas Wadhwa has come a long way since his modest beginnings and has had a challenging journey to get to where he is today. There was one thing that remained constant across all of the various platforms that he traversed—his passion and determination to achieve his goal—from working in an event management company to a stint in a call center to working in a multinational corporation and eventually joining Jet Airways as a cabin crew member. Varun Khera, a graduate of the hotel management program who went on to work as cabin crew for Jet Airways, had always known that he wanted to start something of his own. They met and realized they shared a common passion and vision—being entrepreneurs—through pure serendipity.
