Food delivery and quick commerce platform Swiggy has approved key changes to its board, marking a significant leadership transition. Co-founder Phani Kishan Addepalli and Group CFO Rahul Bothra have been elevated as Executive Directors, strengthening the company’s leadership structure.
At the same time, co-founder Nandan Reddy will step down from the board and exit the company to pursue independent ventures. Reddy was most recently leading Crew, Swiggy’s concierge app.
Leadership Transition Underway
Following Reddy’s departure, the Crew business will now be overseen by Rohit Kapoor, CEO of Swiggy food marketplace, according to internal communication. The move signals a consolidation of leadership within core verticals as the company sharpens its focus on growth and operations.
In another board-level change, Renan De Castro Alves Pinto has been appointed as Nominee Director representing Prosus Ventures, replacing Roger Rabalais.

Strengthening Growth and Financial Strategy
Kishan, currently Chief Growth Officer, has been instrumental in driving business strategy, partnerships, and cross-platform initiatives. Meanwhile, Bothra, Swiggy’s first CFO, has played a critical role in steering financial strategy and governance, especially during the company’s transition from a venture-backed startup to a publicly listed firm.
Commenting on the development, CEO Sriharsha Majety said both leaders have significantly contributed to Swiggy’s growth and will be crucial in shaping its next phase.
Pinto brings over two decades of experience in corporate finance and technology, and currently serves as Group CFO at Despegar, adding further depth to the board.
