HT Media has announced an expanded leadership mandate for Paras Kaushik, who currently serves as Group Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and leads Group IT. As part of his new responsibilities, Kaushik will now also oversee the VCCircle platform and the Events (IP) business across the Hindustan Times and Mint mastheads.
The move reflects HT Media’s strategic focus on integrating people, technology, and content ecosystems to drive future growth. Kaushik has played a central role in the Group’s transformation journey, aligning organisational capabilities with digital innovation and strengthening the intersection of HR and technology functions.
In his expanded role, Kaushik is expected to prioritise the growth of community-led platforms, enhance audience engagement, and scale high-impact intellectual properties. His leadership will be key in advancing HT Media’s ambitions to build influential platforms that cater to evolving consumer and enterprise ecosystems.
Kaushik has been with HT Media for nearly six years as CHRO, where he has led enterprise-wide HR transformation while also overseeing Group IT operations. His tenure has been marked by a strong emphasis on integrating talent strategy with digital capabilities.
Before joining HT Media, he spent over a year at Motherson as Head of Group Human Resources, where he contributed to strengthening HR frameworks in a global manufacturing environment.

A significant part of his career was with the Aditya Birla Group, where he spent nearly 17 years in various leadership roles. His experience includes serving as Head HR for Lifestyle Brands at Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail, VP HR for Learning, Leadership and Organisation Development at Birla Carbon, and Head HR for Pantaloons and Madura Fashion & Lifestyle.
Paras Kaushik began his professional journey with Hindalco Industries as a Management Trainee, eventually moving into leadership roles across learning, development, and broader HR functions, both in India and international markets including the Philippines and the United States.
