The BHIM Payments App has introduced MyUPI, a conversational AI assistant designed to simplify UPI support, transaction tracking, mandate management, and safety controls through a single multilingual interface.
Launched by NPCI BHIM Services Limited (NBSL) at the Global Fintech Fest 2026, MyUPI brings nine essential UPI services together in one conversational interface. The feature is aimed at making digital payments easier to manage by allowing users to access key services using everyday language rather than navigating multiple screens and forms.
MyUPI Brings Multiple UPI Services Under One Interface
According to the company, MyUPI is available 24/7 and is designed to assist users with a range of UPI-related requirements. The conversational interface can help users track transactions, manage mandates and access safety-related controls from within the BHIM app.
The introduction comes as UPI continues to become an increasingly important part of India’s digital payments ecosystem, with users relying on the platform for everyday transactions ranging from small-value payments to recurring mandates and merchant payments.
By bringing multiple support functions into a single interface, MyUPI aims to reduce the complexity involved in finding and using different UPI services.
Conversational AI Aims to Make Digital Payments More Accessible
A key feature of MyUPI is its conversational approach. Instead of searching through different menus or completing complicated forms, users can interact with the assistant using simple, everyday language.
The multilingual functionality is also intended to make UPI support more accessible to a wider range of users across India. With digital payments expanding beyond urban and technology-focused audiences, conversational interfaces could play a role in making payment services easier to understand and use.
The assistant is also positioned around safety and user control, giving users access to relevant security and transaction management features through the same interface.

BHIM Looks to Strengthen AI-Driven Digital Payment Experience
The launch of MyUPI reflects the growing use of artificial intelligence to improve customer support and financial services. Rather than limiting AI to information-based assistance, payment platforms are increasingly exploring conversational tools that can help users navigate operational services.
For BHIM, the integration of AI into its UPI experience could help streamline how users interact with the platform while making commonly used support and management functions easier to access.
As India’s digital payments ecosystem continues to expand, features such as conversational assistance, multilingual support, and integrated safety controls could become increasingly important in improving the overall user experience.
