Kinetic has launched the upgraded Kinetic DX+ 3.1 kWh electric scooter, combining the familiar design of the iconic DX with a larger battery, higher certified range, and technology-led convenience features for urban commuters.
The new DX+ uses a 3.1 kWh LFP battery and offers a certified IDC range of up to 132 km on a single charge. Kinetic has paired the battery with a 3.8 kW peak-power hub BLDC motor, aiming to provide a practical and responsive everyday riding experience. The company said riders can expect a real-world range of around 105 km to 110 km.
The Kinetic DX+ 3.1 kWh carries an ex-showroom price of ₹1,27,650, while the Kinetic DX 3 kWh is priced at ₹1,18,599, according to the company’s press release.
Kinetic DX+ 3.1 kWh Brings Higher Range for Urban Commutes
The battery upgrade forms the centrepiece of the new Kinetic electric scooter. Kinetic said the LFP battery has been engineered to balance range, durability and daily usability, helping commuters manage regular city travel with fewer charging concerns.
The DX+ also gets K-Coast Tech, which supports power regeneration during deceleration. The scooter offers Range and Power riding modes, allowing riders to choose a mode based on their daily requirement.
Ajinkya Firodia, Managing Director and Vice Chairman of Kinetic EV, said the new version builds on the DX’s long-standing association with practicality and reliability while bringing modern electric mobility features to customers.
“The upgraded DX+ brings together the strengths of our iconic design with modern electric technology and thoughtful features, making the transition to electric mobility even more practical and appealing for Indian customers,” Firodia said.

Features of the Upgraded Kinetic DX+ Electric Scooter
The upgraded model retains the all-metal body associated with the Kinetic DX while adding features designed for everyday convenience. It includes Easy Charge, Park Assist with Reverse, telematics and a retractable charging cable.
Kinetic said the scooter can charge from 0% to 80% in approximately three hours. Its Easy Charge system is designed to simplify charging, while Park Assist with Reverse can help riders manoeuvre in tight parking spaces.
The DX+ also offers IP67 water and dust protection, a 37-litre under-seat storage compartment, a 714 mm seat length and an Easy Flip one-touch pillion footrest.
For ride dynamics, the scooter gets 165 mm ground clearance, a 1,315 mm wheelbase, 12-inch tubeless tyres, a 220 mm front disc brake and a 130 mm rear drum brake.
Kinetic Festive Offers and Colour Options
Kinetic has also announced festive benefits for buyers of the DX range. Customers buying the Kinetic DX 3 kWh can receive a ₹2,000 benefit, while the DX+ gets a ₹3,000 benefit. The company is also offering an ₹8,999 extended warranty on the DX+, a ₹5,000 Amazon cashback and a ₹5,000 PME drive benefit.
The Kinetic DX+ 3.1 kWh will be available in Black, Silver, Blue, White and Red. The DX 3 kWh will be offered in Black and Silver.
