Ctruh, a Bengaluru-based deep tech startup building the infrastructure layer for the spatial internet, has raised $2.5 million in a seed funding round led by Inflection Point Ventures. The round also saw participation from Avinya Ventures, India Accelerator, Founder’s Avenue, Anthill Ventures, and LVX, along with prominent angel investors including Vivek Sinha and Shivakumar Ganesan.
The fresh capital will be used to accelerate research and development, enhance its proprietary browser native 3D engine and VersaAI generative AI platform, and expand go-to-market efforts in the United States and the UAE.
Building the Backbone of the Spatial Internet
Ctruh is focused on simplifying how businesses create and deploy immersive 3D and extended reality experiences. Its core technology enables high-fidelity 4K, 8K, and even 16K experiences to run directly on web browsers without requiring downloads, specialised hardware, or complex SDKs.
At the centre of its offering is a no-code and low-code 3D engine that allows instant deployment of immersive experiences across devices. Layered on top is VersaAI, a generative AI engine that converts text, images, and videos into production-ready 3D assets in minutes, significantly reducing both cost and development time.
The company has also launched Commverse Studio, positioned as the world’s first AI-powered unified XR commerce studio, enabling brands to build immersive digital experiences in under 30 minutes.
Investor Confidence and Market Opportunity
According to Vinay Bansal, CEO and Co-Founder of Inflection Point Ventures, Ctruh stands out in an increasingly crowded AI landscape due to its strong technical differentiation and ability to combine AI with 3D and XR technologies for scalable business applications.
Founder and CEO Vinay Agastya said the company aims to make advanced spatial technologies accessible to businesses of all sizes. He highlighted growing industry demand, citing increasing adoption of augmented reality and projections of strong growth in XR hardware and platforms globally.

With a team of 36, the company is now preparing to expand internationally while capitalising on the rapid growth of the global XR market, which is projected to scale significantly over the coming decade.
